Mayan World Destinations
This business is on private land. They have two locations that offer several different fun activities.
1/2 mile north of the Placencia roundabout, at the replica Mayan statue, is the entrance to Mayan World Adventure Park (Mayan World Destinations), where you can:
- Go Ziplining back and forth across a big river valley. This means you don't have to do a lot of hiking in between zips.
- Go river tubing in the stream that you zip over.
- Visit a beautiful private waterfall.
South of the Placencia roundabout, at Mile 27, is the ranch where you can:
- Go Horseback riding.
- Tour a cave.
Getting to Mayan World Destinations/Adventure Park:
- Tours from tour operators in Hopkins are available.
- You can drive here on your own. You can visit the waterfall without a guide. For ziplining, river tubing, and horseback riding, you must book with the outfitter at the park.
