Lubaantun Mayan Ruin

Lubaantun is located near Punta Gorda in the southern Toledo District. It is about 2 hours away from Hopkins.

This is the place where the crystal skull was reported to be found in the early 1900's, although this is a subject of some debate.

You pass Nim Li Punit on the way to Lubaantun, so many people visit both ruins in the same day.

Getting to Lubaantun:

Tours from tour operators in Hopkins may be available, although this is not a common one for tours.
You can also go here on your own - a guide is not required.
