Bocawina

Mayflower Bocawina National Park

Bocawina is what people generally call Mayflower Bocawina National Park.  There is a small fee to enter the park, but it offers nice hiking opportunities to small Mayan ruins and several waterfalls.  You can hike here with or without a guide.

There are 4+ big waterfalls, and all require a decent hike.  The most popular hike is to Antelope Falls, which offers a scenic viewpoint as well as a natural swimming pool.  Another trail takes you to Lower and Upper Bocawina Falls, Peck Falls and Big Drop Falls, all with natural swimming pools.

Mayflower Bocawina National Park is also home to Bocawina Rainforest Resort, a private resort that is located inside the Park. Bocawina Rainforest Resort offers lodging, a restaurant, and a variety of tours, including waterfall rappelling and zip lining (see below).
